Where the Suncook meets the Merrimack — premium decorative concrete for Pembroke Street, Suncook Village & rural estates since 1985.
Pembroke is a Merrimack County community of about 7,200 residents located at the confluence of the Suncook and Merrimack Rivers. Home to the charming Suncook Village with its historic brick Main Street, Pembroke offers a unique mix of New England village character and practical proximity to Concord — just minutes from our Chenell Drive headquarters.
We've completed projects throughout Pembroke — from the village homes along Pembroke Street and Broadway in Suncook Village to the rural properties on Buck Street, Bachelder Road, North Pembroke Road, and Academy Road.
Pembroke's river-valley terrain features alluvial soils near the Merrimack and Suncook, with rocky uplands on the eastern ridges. Seasonal flooding, clay-heavy river-valley soils, and frost-sensitive flat expanses require the drainage engineering and sub-base expertise our 40+ years provide.

Installed a 500 sq ft brick-pattern terrace with fire pit and Suncook River views. Elevated foundation handles the river valley's spring flood levels while capturing panoramic views of the village's iconic brick buildings.

Designed a cobblestone walkway with granite accent borders connecting a 1790s Buck Street farmhouse to its detached barn and garden. The weathered gray tones honor two centuries of New England farming heritage.

Created a flagstone pool deck with rustic stone-wall integration on a Bachelder Road country estate. The deep sub-base handles the area's clay-heavy soils and incorporates French drain systems for the high water table.

A Suncook Village business owner on Main Street wanted to transform the crumbling courtyard behind their historic brick building into an inviting public patio for their café. The space had 100 years of foundation remnants, drainage issues from the nearby Suncook River, and needed to match the village's 19th-century brick character.
We excavated the old foundations, installed a comprehensive drainage system that diverts river-valley groundwater, and poured a red brick-pattern patio with compass-rose center medallion. We integrated original bricks from the courtyard's demolished walls as accent borders and added cast-iron-style bollard lighting. The café now features 16 outdoor seats overlooking the Suncook River — the first outdoor dining in Suncook Village in over 50 years. Summer café revenue doubled in the first season.

Properties near the Suncook and Merrimack Rivers face seasonal flooding. We design elevated foundations, French drain systems, and grade patios away from structures to manage spring runoff and high water events.
Yes! Suncook Village's 19th-century brick buildings are its defining feature. Our brick-pattern stamps in heritage red tones perfectly complement the village's architectural character.
Pembroke's alluvial soils retain moisture and expand during freeze-thaw cycles. We use deeper crushed-stone sub-bases (14-16 inches) with drainage fabric to prevent settling and heaving.
Absolutely! From café courtyards to office entryways, we design commercial stamped concrete that handles high foot traffic and meets ADA requirements while enhancing your business's curb appeal.
